Discovering the life, mysteries, and magic of the Lenape people (Pictures).

September 13 - Diversity Picnic
Mine Brook Park, Flemington NJ
Featuring sample of international cuisine, children's activities, live music and dance (Pictures).

February 24 - Black History Month Celebration
Flemington Presbyterian Church Social Hall

Dr. Randall O. Westbrook, an instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, discussed the life of Paul Robeson.


February 17 - Understanding the Spirit of Islam
Meeting Room of the Headquarters, Hunterdon County Library
Flemington, New Jersey.
Dr. Ali Chaudry, President and Co-Founder of the Center for Understanding Islam, presented the essence of the Qur’an, and the work of the American Muslim community.


January 21 - 4th Annual Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
Clinton Community Center, Clinton, NJ
Adults and families performed volunteer service at several agencies

Refreshments and Conversations and viewing of the posters and essays
Young people performed service at the Community Center for several agencies


Champions of Diversity were awarded to North Hunterdon High School's Interact/Able Club and Mary Beth Berry; Hunterdon Hispanos; Flemington Presbyteiran Church and Flemington Jewish Community Center for their work with the Eissa family; Calvary Episcopal church, Living Waters Lutheran church, Flemington Baptist church and Sincerely, Henry Foundation for their assistance with the Bienveu Rwagasore family; and Jule Bell for her work with the Hispanic community.
Music by the Round Valley Golden Eagles and the Hunterdon Fiddlers.

January 15 - 3rd Annual MLK Day of Service at Clinton Community Center, Clinton
April 20 - Dance for members of the Gay and Straight Alliances at the local high schools. A repeat of the successful event of 2006.
May 6 - One of the sponsors of International Festival at RVCC
July 27 - One of the sponsors of Salsa Night in downtown Flemington
August 20 - Provided the International Music for the annual A Taste of Clinton Event in Clinton, NJ
September 9 - Celebrate Diversity picnic, Minebrook , Flemington
October 5 and 26 - GLBT Month Movie Night at Hunterdon County Library Headquarters in Flemington.
October 12 - 4 Annual candlelight vigil to honor the memories of GLBT hate crime victims in front of the Clinton Community Center, Leigh Street.
December 10 - One of the sponsors of the Hunterdon Hispanos ⁄ La Voz de Hunterdon Dinner

May - Sponsored a chair in the Flemington Rocks! Celebration
Jun 2 - Presented a talk to employees of the Hunterdon County Library on Diversity within Hunterdon County
Jul 28 - One of the sponsors of the annual Salsa Night on Main Street, Flemington
Aug 13 - Sponsored the music, David Cedeno and his Orchestra, for the Taste of Clinton, organized by the restaurants of Clinton and the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce
Sep 10 - Annual “Celebrate Diversity” Picnic, Voorhees State Park, Hoppock Grove Pavilion, 251 County Route 513, Glen Gardner, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sep 16 - Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration including partnering to produce:
