The Community Diversity
Council of Hunterdon County, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization
created by local residents interested in promoting healthy and respectful human
relations in Hunterdon County.
Many people are not aware
that New Jersey has become the most ethnically diverse state in the country.
The most recent census data indicating a large increase in the Latino and Asian
populations of the county demonstrates how this development is impacting
Hunterdon. Thus, the Diversity Council focuses on creating an inclusive
environment for all people, by preventing and eliminating prejudice based on
race, age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability and
color. In its short life, the Diversity Council has been recognized as
a leader in addressing issues of diversity in the county. The
Diversity Council meets the third Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM. The
meeting is open to the public and new members are always welcome. For more
information, please call 1-908-806-1050 or email us at
